Case No. 5:12-MD-02314-EJD

United States District Court for the Northern District of California

UPDATE: On November 10, 2022, following a hearing, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California issued an Order Granting Motion for Final Approval of Class Action Settlement; Granting Motion for Attorneys’ Fees, Expenses, and Service Awards; Judgment. Two Objectors appealed the Order to the Ninth Circuit. Settlement payments cannot be distributed to eligible claimants until the appeals are resolved. On February 21, 2024, the Ninth Circuit rejected all contentions raised by the Objectors and affirmed the District Court’s Order. Because the Objectors could seek rehearing or Supreme Court review, we cannot estimate when distributions to class members can begin. Please be patient and check back to this site periodically for updates on the status of the appeals.

If you are a person who, between April 22, 2010 and September 26, 2011, inclusive, were a Facebook User in the United States who visited non-Facebook websites that displayed the Facebook Like button, you may be eligible for a payment from a Class Action Settlement.
